Posted in mantis by Richard Glover on Tue Feb 21, 12:18 PMThis is the Prayer Garden theme submitted to the Textplates competition. As of this writing, it is the only liquid layout present. Because it is running off of the same TXP install that runs our business site and our blog, some of the functionality may be a little odd. If you click a link and end up somewhere unfamiliar, understand that a fresh install on your site won’t work that way.
The mantises are absolutely positioned and transparent, making them 100% interchangable. If you would prefer other images, it is as simple as positioning them.
The h1, h2, and h3 are sIFRed to Rage Italic. I intentionally left the sIFR function calls at the bottom of the code (rather than in the sIFR.js) so that it would be easy to customize colors.
The comments are extremely beefed-up (for more info on what specifically has been done, check out my working comments post). The short version is alternating even-odd styles, owner styles, and nifty corners.
I hope you enjoy!

This is what an odd numbered comment looks like. Isn’t it pretty?
